I have spent a few days with my parents and just got home tonight. While I was there, I cut out a quilt kit for my mom. It is a flannel quilt made up of pretty red, beige, sage greens; paisley and florals. This will be a nice lap size quilt for mom and will keep her warm and comfy as she recovers from her surgery. It has been a long haul, and her recovery will take months more, but I am looking forward to the day when we can start quilting and stitching together again. I will post some pictures as I start to put this together.
